The Legacy Success Project (LSP) is a community-rooted initiative, born from deep conversations with community leaders, elders, educational administrators, and economic development agencies. These dialogues were anchored in a shared vision of how post-secondary paths can map Oregon learners toward generational wealth attainment and long-term success.
These conversations, data analysis of learner outcomes, institutional evaluation, and qualitative coding of learner journeys built the bedrock of program and pathway design. Understanding the need for this work in all of Oregon, and as the program lead for the Oregon Community Table in Post-Secondary Education and Training (OCTPET), Teresa Alonso Leon ignited the four founding partners of LSP to lean into the momentum of the moment and not only continue the conversations, but to walk in union with communities to build and launch program initiatives across the state.
We envision thriving communities across Oregon, where everyone has the opportunity to build generational wealth through equitable access to education and career pathways.
We support students in preparing for life after graduation, whether that means college, trades, or entering the workforce.
