Capital Campaign for the Anahuac Farm

Capaces Leadership Institute and the Oregon Farmworker Movement is in a very exciting time of expanding our Anahuac program to its own Anahuac Farm located on 60 acres of certified-organic land in Turner, Oregon.

The Capaces Leadership Institute strengthens the wellness, capacity, and political consciousness of individuals, organizations, movements, and community to eliminate social disparities.

Our guiding values are that of:  Holistic Wellness, Fluidity, Tequio (Collectivism, Community, Giving Back), and El Espiritu de la Abuela (The spirit of the grandmother).

The beauty of CLI is that it allows all of us to be part of meaningful conversations and connect with others who are working within el movimiento but who we don't see on a daily basis. It is a challenge to do the type of work that we do, but it is refreshing to know that each organization isn't alone but rather part of a larger network.
